About

The fact that I have been through the process, I understand the stress it causes. This, I feel, makes me the perfect person to represent you.

Chris has been practicing immigration law since 2000 and spent his first six years working for a large London-based private immigration firm where he headed up their Skilled Migration Department.

In 2005 Chris decided to branch out on his own and create MediVisas after becoming unhappy with how standard immigration firms were treating their clients, wishing to create a more honest and transparent service for those going through the UK visa application process.

Experienced in all facets of immigration law and visa types, his main focus and expertise rests predominantly within the employment-based and family-related immigration categories. He also has first-hand experience when it comes to the visa applications process, having married his American wife in 2014.

Chris also advises on other areas of immigration such as Entry Clearance procedures, Settlement and Visa Applications ‘outside the Rules’. He is fluent in Romanian, French, English and proficient in Spanish. He studied at University College London and London College of Law.

About

Established in 2005, we pride ourselves on being an immigration firm with a difference.  We truly care about our clients and offer good, honest and impartial advice.

What we offer

We offer a variety of service levels from a basic Consultation, to Document & Application Checking through to Full Representation.  Either way, we will ensure that your application is in perfect order before it is submitted for processing, or advise the best course of action

Why choose MediVisas:

  • Peace of mind – We aim to make your visa application process as stress-free as possible.
  • Quick response – Your immigration matter is important to us.  We will normally respond to any inquiry within the hour, depending upon your time-zone.
  • Honest and professional – We only take on cases that we consider to have a decent chance of success. If your case has no merit, we will always tell you.
  • Flat-rate fees – you know exactly what the costs are before you sign up to one of our three levels of service.

Here you will find answers to commonly asked questions, although we would also encourage you to contact us directly. We continuously update our FAQ page to make sure it answers your concerns.

This can depend on the type of visa you are applying for and how quickly you get the required documents to us. As soon as you have agreed to work with us, we will send you a list of items and we can start the process right away. It will normally take us around 2 – 4 days to complete your application, but we do have the ability to deal with urgent applications that need to be submitted the same or the next day.

Processing times

Depending where (and when) you are making your application, processing times can and do vary.

‘Out of country’ applications

You will need to make and ‘Entry Clearance’ application at their nearest UK Visa Application Centre
On average you should expect a processing time of approximately 3 – 6 weeks, although in some cases, you can pay extra to expedite your application.

In Country applications

If you are legally resident in the UK, you will need to apply directly to UK Visas & Immigration.
Processing times can be anything from 1 – 6 months. In many cases, a 48 hour Priority Service is available for an additional fee.

If your application is successful, you will be granted Leave to Remain and this will normally be issued in the form of a Biometric Residence Card or ‘BRP’ although these are gradually being phased out.
MediVisas can help you with any or all the above stages.  Send us an email and see how we can help you.

* At the time of application, we will gauge how long the processing time should be; that said, global events and the complexity of a case may result in a longer processing time. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a guaranteed timescale, only an estimation.

We offer different levels of services for different prices with the hope of being able to accommodate everyone’s financial circumstances. You can find a full list of fees here.

We have many years’ experiences in helping clients with their supporting documents. Sometimes you may have misplaced them in which case and we can help you find ways to get copies or advise you on the alternatives.

We do not operate on a No Win No Fee basis. That said, we would never take on an application if we didn’t feel it had an excellent chance of success.

We aim to respond to emails within 1 hour or sooner from receipt. You can call us at any time (within reason!) if you have a more pressing matter that needs to be dealt with urgently.
